![]() Headstone for Nathaniel Jonathan Westfall (1852-1915), father of Osa B. Westfall Corbett (my grandmother), son of John H. Westfall and Lydia Wilson Smith Westfall and my great grandfather; Harrison Grove Cemetery, Lewis County, W. VA. Nathaniel died in Akron, Summit County, Ohio three years after moving to Ohio from Lewis County. His home in Lewis Co. was on Cove Lick two miles above Copley and a few miles from this cemetery. |
![]() Peter Westfall (1840-1913) headstone, Harrison Grove Cemetery. He served in Company C, 10th Virginia Infantry U.S. during the Civil War. Peter lived in Edmiston a short distance south of the cemetery. Today, there is no evidence of the community but the road branching off Murphy's Creek Road is named "West Fall Road." The space between "West" and "Fall" on the street sign is curious. |
![]() Marker for Peter's three wives; Barbara and Mary Jane (Reger) and Peggy (Taylor) Westfall. The actual graves are marked by foot stones with the initials of each lady and are located between this marker and Peter's further to the right. |

Markley about 1871. The couple lived on Laurel Run about three miles west of the Harrison Grove Cemetery. |
