Duchess soon learned that she can go out the larger doggie door in the back bedroom. August 03, 2010
Duchess has also learned that she can check out noises in the back yard by using the small doggie door for a peep hole. Duchess has lost her right front leg and her right back leg has a rod in it. She was hit by a car about a year ago. The driver left her for dead. Luckily, Mike found her after searching for an hour and rushed her to a vet where the surgery was performed. She has a great spirit and her disability has not slowed her down a bit. Aug. 3, 2010	A double rainbow captured by grandson Michael on his digital camera during one of our Arizona monsoon storms, August 2010	Aug. 12, 2010 - we used Mike's pickup to get a load of hay, ten bales to last the rest of this month and into September.

Just along for the ride	Beer Can Point (really), Canyon Lake. No fish here either.	Canyon Lake winds through the canyons carved out by the Salt River over countless centuries. A stern paddle wheel boat cruises up and down the lake with tourists.
