James was the grandfather of Bonnie Delois (Allen) Miller and father of

James A. Allen's second
wife, Amanda O. Montgomery Allen ,
and her children. This picture was taken about 1913. Daughter
Alvo Mae is on the left, daughter Marie is on the right and son Marion
Elic is on her lap. Amanda died in 1927. This picture is the courtesy
of Amanda's great grandson (by a second marriege) Brian Wylie and sent
to me by Barbara "Bobbie" Bates.
